I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember, but only recently have I been trying to make them.

As someone who works in the IT industry, I appreciate photography as the perfect combination of technology and art.

Minnesota : Minnesota - Christmas 2007 December in Minnesota can be rather cold. There's a lot of snow and with the wind chill, the temperatures are often below zero and if you have any exposed body parts while outside, you'll soon learn what freezer burn feels like. However, Minnesota remains warm and active throughout the winter with it's kind people and naturally beautiful, rugged landscape. Special thanks to the Peterson family and friends for their hospitality.

Bonsai! : These pictures were taken at the Pacific Rim Bonsai Garden on the Weyerhaeuser campus in Federal Way, WA. Most all of these bonsai were at least 30 years old and some of the plants themselves were many decades older than that. If you're into bonsai and ever get a chance to stop by, you won't be disappointed.
